A major electricity distributor is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Plant Fitter to join the team based in Rochester, contributing to inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment up to 132kV. This permanent position offers a salary of £42,005 plus a bonus and requires a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship as well as site work experience. Additional benefits include a personal pension plan, tenancy loan scheme, and occupational health support among others.
This mechanical & electrical plant fitter will report to the field staff supervisor and will work within network operations based in our Rochester office, with travel to sites across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.
You will attract a salary of £42,005 and a bonus of 3%.

To work as part of a team, carrying out Inspection, Maintenance and defect repairs of mechanical plant and electrical equipment at voltages up to and including 132kV.
You undertaking will play an important role in the safe completion of the Inspection, Maintenance and defect Repairs of plant and equipment up to and including 132kV.
You will be required to work at any location within the UK Power Networks area
