Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Greater London. The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair vehicle problems, perform routine maintenance, and use diagnostic tools. Applicants should possess relevant qualifications, attention to detail, and a valid UK driving license. This position offers a competitive salary up to £34,000, rising to £36,500 after training, along with a benefits package and opportunities for growth.

- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am–12:00pm (paid as overtime).
Salary: Basic up to £34,000, rising to £36,500 after brand training + bonus.

- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- Some experience as a vehicle technician and/or a relevant and up-to-date qualification
- Bonus: MOT qualification
- Great pride in your work and incredible attention to detail
- Full valid UK driving licence
