Responsibilities

  • Supervise Assemblers and delegate tasks to meet productivity and quality targets.
  • Convert build plans into Manufacturing Orders and manage to completion.
  • Assemble, program, test, and align electro-mechanical units.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to component level.
  • Oversee kitting and ensure accurate ERP stock transactions.
  • Support stock control, organisation and stock take.
  • Maintain build accuracy and use correct documentation.
  • Collaborate with teams on improvements and prototypes.
  • Liaise with test engineers on order progression.
  • Contribute to quality control, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.

Salary: £35,000 per annum

This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced motion‑capture and tracking technology used across entertainment, engineering, and scientific research. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Lead Production Technician oversees the production build process combining hands‑on assembly and testing with team leadership and workflow coordination.

Key responsibilities
