1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs - ASD & Behaviour)
Location: Brent, North West London (Excellent Jubilee Line Access)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 100-110 per day (PAYE only) - with review at Week 12
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Sanza Teaching Agency are working with a welcoming, inclusive and well-led Primary School in Brent who are seeking a highly committed 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural needs.
This is a rewarding but demanding role, ideal for someone who is calm, resilient and passionate about making a meaningful difference through consistent, structured 1:1 support.
The school understands the importance of investing in the right staff and is keen to support the successful candidate with guidance, structure and regular check-ins.
You will be providing dedicated 1:1 support to a child with ASD and behavioural needs throughout the school day. The pupil responds well to positive reinforcement, clear boundaries and routine.
This role requires patience, emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
This role would suit someone with a background in SEND, education, youth work, care or behavioural support.
