- Potentially assist with consumer complaints, small claims, and defensive legal matters.
- 10+ years’ experience in regulatory legal practice focusing on Internet regulation: user safety, privacy, data protection, consumer protection.
- Deep knowledge of UK/EU/Australia regulations such as the UK & Australian Online Safety Acts, EU Digital Services Act, GDPR, AI Act, privacy and consumer protection laws.
- Experience interacting with regulatory agencies in UK, EU, and/or Australia.
- Licensed to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience with companies in social media, communications, messaging, or gaming.
- Strong project management, strategic judgment, and collaborative skills.
- High emotional intelligence and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Familiarity with Discord and the gaming industry.
- Work at the forefront of regulatory compliance in a hyper-evolving legal environment.
- Influence safety and content moderation policy affecting millions of users globally.
