Kernow Veterinary Group is looking for a small animal vet to join our team. This role is full-time, 40 hours over a 4-day working week, promoting a great work/life balance. We are also open to part-time applicants!

Our current team consists of 22 small animal vets across five sites, along with a dedicated farm & equine team.

Our Talented Team

We seek someone to complement our supportive team, which includes certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Dermatology & Behaviour, as well as new graduates in the IVC graduate academy. We offer referral services in Behaviour, Ophthalmology & Dermatology.

All sites are well-equipped, offering a full range of diagnostic and surgical services. We operate our own OOH for inpatients, supported by an RVN and nursing staff 24/7 at our main site. We employ a night vet and collaborate with a neighboring IVC practice to cover emergency OOH night work. The role involves contributing to the OOH rota for inpatient care and weekends (currently 1:10 weekends).

Within our supportive team, you have the opportunity for clinical freedom and to follow cases through. Many experienced vets have been with us for over 30 years, alongside recently qualified colleagues.
