Role Overview:

Seeking experienced Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors with proven expertise in the Power sector, particularly Distribution, Transmission, Renewables, or related technologies. This role involves cost management, contract administration, and supporting clients on high-profile projects with a focus on hybrid working flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate at cost management level administering contracts aligned with project goals
  • Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting throughout project lifecycle
  • Proactively manage cost variances, contract cash flow, and timely application submissions
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to manage delivery of KPIs, programme performance, cost control, and value engineering
  • Manage contract changes ensuring governance and best practices are followed
  • Drive improvements in forecasting and budgeting accuracy
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field preferred
  • Professional body membership or working toward one preferred (e.g., RICS)
  • Experience with contract management, ideally NEC3 Option C or NEC4 contracts
  • Proven track record in power sector projects
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and contract management skills
