Corrigenda are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated air conditioning engineer to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive air conditioning tasks. Supporting the Hampshire County Council contract working in buildings such as offices, schools, libraries, fire stations and police stations across the eastern half of Hampshire.

1. Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various air conditioning systems and equipment such as split, VRV and VRF and heat pumps.
2. Service air handling units, fan convertors and extractor fans.
3. Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements.
4. Collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access as required.
5. Participate in the out of hours call out rota.
6. Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and the general public at all times.
7. The role may require you to work at heights to fulfil the role.
8. Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team to ensure client contract expectations are met.
9. Contact suppliers for replacement parts and cost information where required.
10. Any other tasks required by the company within skill set/experience.

Essential

1. Recognised industry standard qualification.
2. Be able to operate smart devices and complete electronic documentation.
3. Ability to set up and programme AC controls.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations.

Desirable

1. Manufacturers training courses.
2. Experience in a similar role and working sectors.
3. Basic safe electrical working awareness.
4. City & Guilds F Gas & ODS Regulations.
5. City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems.
