The Role & Your Impact

• Lead mechanical design for commercial projects across the Manchester and North West area, taking designs from concept to detailed execution.
• Use your expertise in MEP consulting to ensure commercial schemes are energy–efficient, high–performing, and meet industry standards.
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and sustainability experts to provide integrated, performance–driven designs.
• Mentor junior engineers, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the improvement of internal engineering standards.
• Manage client relationships, site visits, and specifications, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a strong focus on commercial MEP projects in the Manchester market.
• Strong technical skills in mechanical systems design, energy performance, and low–carbon solutions. Familiarity with design tools such as Revit and IES is preferred.
• Excellent communication and client–facing abilities.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field), with a clear ambition to progress towards Chartered status (or already Chartered).
• A proactive, solution–oriented mindset and a passion for high–quality, sustainable building design.
