Location: Greenford (Hybrid – minimum 2 days on-site)

Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance (dual considered)

Travel: Occasional travel between Greenford and Loudwater

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Planning Manager to lead production planning at our Greenford site. This is a highly visible role at the core of our operational performance, perfect for someone who thrives on structure, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will oversee two planners and work closely with production managers to ensure seamless scheduling of key production lines and use of our tank testing facilities. A deep understanding of capacity planning and production flow will be essential to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning across Greenford and Loudwater manufacturing sites
• Manage and optimise the use of our critical tank testing facilities
• Oversee two direct reports (site planners) and support their development
• Create and maintain a dynamic and responsive production schedule
• Run capacity planning and scenario modelling to mitigate risk and bottlenecks
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment
• Drive the transition from spreadsheet-based planning to digital tools (IFS ERP)
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-led solutions

• Strong data analysis skills – confident in forecasting, capacity modelling, and identifying trends
• Familiarity with ERP systems (IFS ) and a desire to drive digital transformation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• Eligibility for SC Clearance (UK or dual considered)
