Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit complex planning applications.

  • Liaise with clients and local authorities.
  • Prepare reports and statements.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Attend committee meetings.

Our client, an established planning and development consultancy is urgently looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their Dorest team. The successful Senior Town Planner will have access to a variety of residential, mixed use, commercial and rural projects.

Qualifications
  • Have a BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline
  • Be MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving this)
  • Have demonstrable, combined public and private sector planning experience
  • Hold a full UK driver's licence
Responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting complex planning applications and appeals
  • Undertaking planning appraisals
  • Liaising with clients and local authorities
  • Preparing reports and statements
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Attending committee meetings
