Job summary
A leading technology firm in Liverpool is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data and pipelines in a cloud-based environment. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £55,000 and a hybrid work model requiring 2 days in the office per week.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' commercial experience working with cloud-based data tech (Azure & AWS).
- Experience with Python or other relevant languages for ETL.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and optimisation of scalable data and pipelines.
- Build and manage ETL processes using Azure, Databricks, PySpark and SQL.

Liverpool (hybrid) £55,000 (DOE) Hyperloop Recruitment are working with a leading client based in Liverpool, looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing team.
You will help lead the design, development and optimisation of scalable data and pipelines in a cloud-based environment, building and managing ETL processes using tools such as Azure, Databricks, PySpark and SQL.
The role would suit a strong Data Engineer with 2+ years' commercial experience working with cloud-based data tech (Azure & AWS), Python (or other relevant languages for ETL), relational and non-relational databases.
- Proficiency in implementing ETL pipelines
- Azure / AWS cloud proficiency
- Python / PySpark
- Strong SQL skills for database management
- SSRS / SSIS
- Ability to develop, optimise & maintain complex SQL queries & stored procedures (T-SQL)
Role pays up to £55,000 (DOE) + benefits and will be on a hybrid working basis with 2 days per week in the Liverpool city centre offices.
