Job summary
A leading IT consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Specialist. The role involves leading the implementation of SAP Master Data Governance solutions and requires a strong technical knowledge of SAP MDG, alongside excellent communication and integration skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in data governance processes and cross-system integrations.
Qualifications
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of SAP MDG and related data governance processes.
- Experience with cross-system integrations and data migration projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions.
- Expertise in SAP MDG modules and data governance principles.
- Implement integrations between SAP MDG and other systems.
Skills
Tools
- SAP Basis, SAP on Cloud (Azure), S/4 HANA, SAP HANA DB, Windows and Linux.
- Proficiency in MDG Modules like BP, MM, OG.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions.
- Expertise in SAP MDG modules, data governance principles, and technical architecture to guide cross-functional teams and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Deep insight of data models, workflows, data validation rules, and integration points to support master data management processes.
- Experience in configuration and customization of SAP MDG modules to meet business needs, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and design guidelines.
- Implemented integrations between SAP MDG and other SAP/non-SAP systems, including ERP and BI systems, utilizing SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web services.
- Documented architectural designs, configurations, customizations, and integration specifications for SAP MDG solutions.
- Ability to assess implementation risks and potential impacts.
- Understanding of data migration tools/concepts and the ability to manage migration projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of SAP MDG and related data governance processes.
- Experience with cross-system integrations and data migration projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
