Registered Nurse – Band 5, Ilfracombe and Braunton Community Nursing Team. The closing date is 23 October 2025.
Due to career progression within the nursing team, we are seeking band 5 nurses to join the Ilfracombe and Braunton Community Nursing Team. You will have the opportunity to work across both areas. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a desire to work in the community.
Stretching across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, we have a workforce of over 15,000 staff, making us the largest employer in Devon. Our core services cover more than 2,000 square miles and we provide emergency, specialist and general medical services through North Devon District Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford). We deliver integrated health and social care services across community settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care, primary care, specialist community services, and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC).

Please ensure that you have a full driving licence if applying for this position.
To assess, provide and review nursing care, advice and information to patients and carers within the home environment, alternative care settings, and clinic environments. Aim to maintain patients in their own preferred place of care, enabling independence and quality of life. Work under the direction of the Nurse Specialist (Community) and the Community Nurse Team Lead using registered nurse skills and knowledge.
