Home Instead Medway is recruiting Care Assistants in Gillingham, Rochester, Chatham, Strood & East Gravesend DA12 and surrounding areas. Part-time, weekdays and alternate weekends. Driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential to support clients. • Home Help & Light Housekeeping. Help Clients Maintain Their Independence by Assisting Them With Household Chores
• Personal Care. Help Your Client with mobility or getting ready for the day, including assistance with bathing
• Companionship. Keep Your Client Company or take trips around the local area
• Other Support. From medication reminders, help with shopping and other support

• Available from 7am – 2pm and 4pm – 10pm, evenings and alternate weekends and during weekdays
• You are required to be a driver with a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle
• 1 year of experience in the care sector as a CARE Assistant working with older people

• Experience of working in the care/domiciliary care sector
• Empathetic, compassionate, trustworthy, reliable and punctual
• Flexible, dependable, and dedicated
• Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, helping with appointments and providing companionship

• Award-winning training and competitive pay (£13-14 per hour; double pay for bank holidays)

• Part-time or guaranteed hours contracts (from 10, 16+ hours to 36 hours guaranteed)
