Exciting opportunity alert for a Band 7 Adults Senior Social Worker in the Drug and Alcohol Team located in Colchester, UK. You will earn £31 per hour with a locum contract spanning 3 months. As a full-time Senior Social Worker, you will be delivering vital support across community teams in Mid, North East, South, or West Essex, excluding Southend and Thurrock, and collaborating with the Essex Drug and Alcohol Partnership a minimum of one day a week. Your role revolves around fostering an integrated service addressing both substance misuse and mental health issues, working closely with Crisis teams, Community Mental Health Services, Criminal Justice, and multiple agencies.

• Engage with third sector agencies to provide comprehensive care without passing service users between services.
• Contribute to policy development around integrated services, enhancing community health standards.
