A healthcare service provider in the UK is seeking an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist or Nurse Prescriber to join their team. You will conduct weight loss consultations, prescribe medications, and support patients through their journey to better health. This role requires registration as a prescriber and relevant experience in weight loss management. The position offers competitive rates and flexible scheduling.

Formation
We’re building the UK’s most patient‑centred online weight loss service. As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist or Nurse Prescriber at Slinic, you’ll deliver safe, effective weight management clinics: assessment, prescribing, counselling, and follow‑up.
- Conduct structured weight loss consultations and risk assessments
- Prescribe appropriately (incl. GLP‑1s) within protocols and your competence
- Provide lifestyle counselling, monitor outcomes, manage side‑effects.
- GPhC‑registered Independent Prescriber (Pharmacist) OR NMC‑registered Nurse Prescriber
- Demonstrable weight loss prescribing experience in community or clinic
- Confident with clinical guidelines, red‑flag recognition & safeguarding
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong patient demand & marketing support
- Robust clinical governance, PGDs/SOPs & peer support
- Competitive sessional/contractor rates and flexible scheduling
