A leading professional services firm is seeking an ambitious Corporate Tax Senior to join their Reading office. Responsibilities include managing a client portfolio, preparing complex tax computations, and filing corporate tax returns. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications like ATT, CTA, ACCA, or ACA, along with experience in a mixed tax environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in a professional services firm in a mixed tax or business tax environment.
- Good knowledge of business tax compliance with exposure to planning/advisory work.
Responsibilities
- Manage own client portfolio.
- Prepare more complex tax computations.
- Prepare and file Corporate Tax Returns.
- Assist clients with planning and advisory work.
- Handle HMRC correspondence.

Corporate Tax Semi Senior or Senior - Reading
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected professional services firms. Our client are looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax Senior to join their Reading office.
- Responsible for managing own client portfolio
- Preparing more complex tax computations
- Preparing and filing Corporate Tax Returns
- Assist clients with wide ranging planning, consultancy & advisory work
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence including responding to enquiries
- Developing strong working relationships with colleagues and relevant tax authorities and other interested third parties
The local Reading office is commutable from areas over the Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire areas; Camberley, Woking, Bracknell, Fleet, Guildford, Farnham, Basingstoke, Alton etc.
- ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA - Student/ Part Qualified/ Qualified
- Experience gained within a professional services firm in a mixed tax or business tax environment.
- Good knowledge of business tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work
