Job Summary: Leading the delivery of the operational resilience and outsourcing framework, including oversight and reporting.
Job Duties:
- Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and legal and compliance (L&C) team to understand operational requirements and implement a framework that demonstrates compliance with regulations for operational resilience (OR) and outsourcing (OS).
- Collaborate with COO and L&C to develop and maintain reporting frameworks that ensure compliance with OR and OS requirements.
- Produce internal committee and board reports detailing progress in complying with OR and OS requirements.
- Maintain outsourcing (OS) registers for each European legal entity, ensuring all required documents are held and reviewed periodically.
- Coordinate oversight activities in line with the framework via the outsourcing working group and operational resilience forum.
- Maintain all supporting documents for OR, ensuring they are reviewed periodically as required.
- Work with colleagues in the operations team to improve processes around current external reporting.
- Coordinate timely submission of regulatory reports as required.
Person Specification:
- A bachelor's degree or other tertiary insurance-related qualification.
- Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires extensive interaction with underwriting teams and senior management.
- Experience working in the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to Lloyd's market.
- Proficient with all standard Microsoft applications.
- Highly analytical with problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
