Job summary
A care facility in Barnet is seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant to ensure that residents receive quality care throughout the night. The role involves performing care duties, assisting management in operations, and ensuring the safety of all residents. Candidates should have experience in care, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage emergency situations. This full-time position offers a pay rate of £13.26 to £14.00 per hour, with 48 hours per week including alternate weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience in care duties during night shifts.
- Ability to assist in the efficient running of the home.
- Familiarity with emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform care duties and assist with cleaning throughout the night.
- Help management team ensure home operates efficiently.
- Carry out handover procedures for resident accountability.
Skills
We are looking for a Senior Night Care Assistant to be accountable for the home and the residents, who will create a calm and secure atmosphere throughout the night. Ensuring regular checks according to each resident’s individual needs, and leading the team on the floor.
£13.26 to £14.00 per hour
Full Time
48 hours (alternate weekends)

- Perform care duties and assist with cleaning duties throughout the night shift.
- Assist the Manager, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager in the running of the home in an efficient and caring manner.
- Be fully aware of the contingency and emergency plan of the home.
- Ensure a walking handover is carried out and that all residents are accounted for at the start and the end of the shift.
- Ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the home.
