Job summary
A specialist recruitment agency is seeking a Plater to work at a cement plant in Peterborough and Buxton. Responsibilities include using oxyacetylene burning equipment, cutting and repairing steel plate, and MMA tack welding on mild steel. Candidates must possess a CCNSG card and NVQ 3 or equivalent. Previous experience in heavy engineering is essential. The role includes various shift patterns with competitive PAYE rates, increasing for night shifts and overtime.

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Platers on behalf of our client for a cement plant in Peterborough and Buxton. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA tack welding on mild steel plate
- CCNSG card
- NVQ 3 or equivalent
- MP Connect Pass (or be willing to register and obtain for £30)
- Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
