The Electrical Store Person will be responsible for conducting all administration related to purchasing – including ordering, processing payments, and ensuring vendor compliance.

They will also oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in accordance with company standards, as well as maintaining the store's general upkeep and good housekeeping.

Key duties include:

• Receiving and checking all deliveries in line with scheduled orders and reconciling discrepancies.
• Ensuring goods are stored properly and noting any variances.
• Checking quantities, inspecting items, and arranging drop-off points on site.
• Storing or distributing goods to designated sites.
• Notifying relevant personnel of deliveries and store locations.
• Coordinating with colleagues and suppliers regarding product quality and quantity issues, and managing stock levels.
• Performing ad-hoc cleaning duties as required.
• Complying with all EHSQ policies and procedures.
• Loading goods onto sites as needed.
• Opening the store before site staff arrive each day.

Qualifications:

• Experience working on a busy construction site.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Store Systems.
• Ability to build rapport with colleagues and other teams.
• Ability to use initiative effectively.
