Job summary

A specialist recruitment agency is seeking a Plater to work at a cement plant in Peterborough and Buxton. The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Platers on behalf of our client for a cement plant in Peterborough and Buxton. Duties will include:

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Repairing heat distorted steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• MMA tack welding on mild steel plate

Requirements

• CCNSG card
• NVQ 3 or equivalent
• MP Connect Pass (or be willing to register and obtain for £30)
• Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
