A leading asset management company in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Commercial Asset Manager to maximize the value and performance of a portfolio of commercial assets. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and a strong understanding of property markets. This role offers the opportunity to develop strategic plans and manage key stakeholder relationships while ensuring asset performance meets financial goals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in asset management, investment, leasing, or commercial property management.
- Strong understanding of property markets, lease structures, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel and property management software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset business plans to maximize income, capital growth, and efficiency.
- Analyze asset performance and recommend improvements.
- Conduct regular asset valuations, risk assessments, and return-on-investment analyses.
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for assigned assets.
- Identify and pursue value-add opportunities including lease renegotiations, capital improvements, and operational enhancements.
- Oversee service charge and operational expenditure to ensure cost efficiency.
- Act as primary liaison for tenants, partners, joint venture stakeholders, and service providers.
- Negotiate lease terms, renewals, and commercial agreements.
- Produce regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and lease obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and lease obligations.
- Support audits and due diligence processes as required.
- Transaction Support
- Contribute to acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing strategies.
- Assist in financial modeling and due diligence for new investments.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in asset management, investment, leasing, or commercial property management.
- Strong understanding of property markets, lease structures, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel and property management software
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
