A National Health Service Trust in Coventry is seeking a Phlebotomy Team Leader to coordinate blood sample collections and train new staff. Successful candidates will support in-patient and out-patient services, work shift patterns, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. The role requires a full clean UK driving license. Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services provides phlebotomy services at six main sites: University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry and Rugby, City of Coventry Health Centre in Coventry, George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton, and South Warwick Foundation Trust in Warwick, covering out‑patient and in‑patient services. It also supports community clinics, GP clinics and domiciliary services across Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Birmingham.
Perform phlebotomy and support other staff of a team whilst providing optimum patient care. To deputise for the Phlebotomy supervisor in their absence and carry out duties deemed reasonable by the phlebotomy manager.
We are looking for keen and enthusiastic individuals who can bring forward‑thinking ideas to our very busy department. The role will require a full clean UK driving licence; you may be asked to transport items to other sites, although a main ‘base’ site will be identified.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
We are currently looking for a Phlebotomy Team Leader to work at GEH Hospital site. We are looking to increase access to our services for patients, and are therefore looking to introduce both in‑patient and out‑patient services across seven days. Applicants will be expected to work shift patterns to support these services going forwards, including early, late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.
