A reputable manufacturing company in Birmingham is looking for a CNC Miller Setter/Programmer. The role requires programming Fanuc VMC's and supporting the CNC team. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 apprenticeship, experience in CNC machining, and the ability to read technical drawings. Benefits include 25 days of holidays and a competitive salary.
CNC Miller Setter/Programmer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Competitive
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-12:30, though some flexibility is to be expected.
Our client is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to their current growth, they are now looking to recruit for the position of a CNC Miller Setter/Programmer.
The successful applicant will be based at their production facility in Birmingham city centre.
As part of a larger strategy to increase their productivity across the business, they are looking to add a skilled and flexible machinist to their team, who's roll will be to support the incumbent CNC team with all aspects of their daily tasks as required, while also supporting the Manufacturing Engineers with lean and 5s projects.
This role would suit somebody with several years' experience of programming Fanuc VMC's, in a wide range of materials, any turning or Mazatrol knowledge will be a bonus.
