Position : CNC Setter

Location : Tipton

Salary : £15 - £17 per hour (DOE)

CNC Setter required to join a manufacturing company that is based in the Tipton area.

This company is looking for a CNC Setter that has experience with Milling or Turning.

CNC Setter Job Overview

• Set and Operate Siemens controlled CNC Milling machines
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD / CAM files to determine machining requirements.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to optimize performance and ensure tight tolerances.
• Conduct regular inspections of produced parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc)
• Maintain accurate records of setups, adjustments, and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed.

CNC Setter Job Requirements

• Previous CNC Milling or Turning experience — Setting and Operating
• Programming experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with various materials
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
