A well-established manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a Machine Operative for a long-term position with opportunities for progression. Empowered Personnel are currently recruiting Machine Operatives for a well established manufacturing company based in Coventry (CV6). This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Machine Operatives looking for a long term, stable position within a fast-paced production environment offering career progression and development opportunities.
Weekly rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):
- 06AM-2PM
- 2PM-10PM
- 10PM-6AM
- Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently as a Machine Operative.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance including cleaning and minor adjustments.
- Identify and report any equipment faults, breakdowns, or production issues promptly.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks for defects or inconsistencies.
- Complete all required quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Prepare, label, and pack products for despatch safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate despatch and inventory records.
- Proven experience working as a Machine Operative in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good understanding of quality control and production processes.
- Physically fit - able to lift up to 15kg.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude is advantageous.
- Long term, stable Machine Operative position with opportunities for progression.
