Responsibilities

THE LANGFORD CENTRE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED COOK TO JOIN OUR CURRENT TEAM, ON THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS, AND SATURDAYS TO PRODUCE QUALITY NUTRITIOUS MEALS FOR OUR SERVICE USERS.

Bramley Health is a specialist health and social care provider. We support men and women of working age who pose variations of mental health challenges within our homes, to maximise their independence to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

The Langford Centre is our mental health hospital based in Bexhill on Sea, and can support up to 73 service users. Split across 6 different wards, they provide care for a mixture of men and women in need. This is who you will be cooking for.

About the Role

Nutrition is an important part of providing the perfect care to our service users, and the Cook does just this! You will have all dietary requirements/ cultural requirements, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our service users, to serve up meals following these guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing nutritious meals for service users in line with guidelines/ requirements
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and produce
  • Utilise knowledge of HACCP and current food regulations
  • Interaction with service users to reflect their food choices

  • Food hygiene level 2 certification
