Senior Civil Design Engineer – Water & Wastewater
Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Greater London is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to deliver high-quality civil design solutions for complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years' experience in a regulated sector, strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations, and is skilled in both infra and non-infra designs. Responsibilities include producing design deliverables, mentoring CAD technicians, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' design experience in a regulated infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations and profile preparation.
- Experience with clean water and wastewater systems.
Responsibilities
- Produce design deliverables that meet safety and quality standards.
- Prepare civil design calculations and drawings for infrastructure projects.
- Mentor and guide CAD technicians.
- Develop design risk assessments, reports, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant technical and industry standards.
