Job summary
A civil engineering firm in Manchester is looking for a Civil Engineer with about 4-5 years of experience, ideally CEng or IEng qualified. - Follow check and approve procedures throughout project delivery
- Undertake the duties of designer as highlighted in CDM/CSM legislation

- Circa 4/5 years experience
- Ideally CEng or IEng qualified with a professional body i.e. ICE, IStructE
- Demonstratable experience in a Civil Engineering role, ideally acting as CRE, CRE under mentorship
- Experience of civil engineering design and in the railway industry, including an understanding of Network Rail standards
- A Civil Engineering degree (MEng preferred but not critical)
- Knowledge of civil design and construction principles and standards
- Eurocode experience
- Experience in delivering to safety standards and CDM/CSM requirements
- Experience of commercial awareness including programming and delivery to budgets/timescales
- Proficient in the use of computer analysis programs e.g. TEDDS and Supersuite
- Knowledge of producing drawings by using 2D/3D Microstation
