We are an international organization operating in India, USA, and the UK. All our UK nurseries are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and are located in London and Windsor. We are expanding, with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend practices from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, offering a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The Room Leader role offers a salary up to £31,000 for a 40-hour week. Benefits include:

Role responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you’ll embody our values of Listen, Learn, and Lead, serving as a role model and a cultural ambassador. You’ll own your room, creating inspiring experiences aligned with the EYFS and Kido curriculum, and ensuring high standards of care and education. You’ll observe, assess, and support your team and children’s development, fostering a nurturing environment that respects each child's background and needs. Effective communication with parents, colleagues, and children is essential for delivering exceptional early years education.

You’ll also be responsible for documenting children’s progress, celebrating milestones, and maintaining a safe, inclusive space for exploration and learning.

Candidate requirements

• Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (see https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england)
• Alignment with our core values - Listen, Learn, Lead
• Experience as a Level 3 Educator, with previous Room Leader or Deputy experience preferred
• Right to work in the UK
• Consent to background checks, including DBS and disclosure of unspent convictions
