Job summary

A leading child care provider is looking for a Children's Residential Deputy Manager in Dudley. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of a residential home catering to children with learning disabilities and Autism. You will require experience in the childcare environment and a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People. The role includes working with young individuals who may have communication challenges, and driving responsibilities are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience working in a residential childcare environment.
  • Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent is essential.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and be able to drive company vehicles.
  • Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.

£36,000 + Sleep in's £67.50 each

This is an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Home Manager to join our home in Dudley. The home is rated Good in all areas with OFSTED and has an excellent reputation with the local authorities. The home can accommodate up to 5 Young people, all the Children & Young People we support have learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy and can display some associated behaviours. Many of our children (not all) are non‑verbal or have limited communication and will communicate with us through different methods such as picture boards, Smartbox devices and Makaton.
