ERS are supporting their established client - A leading supplier of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment and services in Aberdeen. They offer a comprehensive range of products and services, including:

1. Equipment and Consumables: Stocking items for ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), dye penetrant inspection (DPI), radiography, visual inspection, and hardness testing.
2. Repair and Calibration Services: Providing maintenance and calibration for various NDT equipment, with UKAS accreditation for ultrasonic and eddy current equipment.
3. Rental Services: Offering a diverse selection of NDT equipment for short-term use, such as ultrasonic flaw detectors, phased array systems, and hardness testers.

Are you the Electrical Service Technician that we are looking for?

Your key responsibilities will be:

1. Perform electrical repairs and calibration on a range of equipment.
2. Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues.
3. Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery.
5. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
6. Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
7. Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
8. Prepare detailed reports on service activities, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
9. Assist in managing spare parts and tools inventory, ensuring that necessary supplies are readily available.
