A well-established Independent Service Centre located in Braintree is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician. The role involves servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles, conducting MOT testing, and performing diagnostic tests. A fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, a valid UK driving license, and personal tools are required. The salary can reach up to £35,000 based on skills and experience, with flexible weekend hours available.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a well-established Independent Service Centre, located in Braintree. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.

Salary and Working Hours

The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with OTE of £35,000. Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm, with additional flexible weekend hours. If you chose to work alternate Saturday mornings 8.00am-12.00pm; the basic salary will be up to £35,000 p.a. (depending on skill set and experience). If you do not wish to work Saturday mornings the basic salary will be up to £33,280 p.a. (depending on skill set and experience).
