Sunday Cafe Assistant
Job summary
A local café is seeking a Café Assistant in Towcester. You will provide excellent customer service, prepare beverages, and maintain a clean environment. This part-time position requires a friendly approach and adherence to health and safety standards. Shifts are primarily on Sundays, with 5 hours of work per week.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service is beneficial.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness in the café environment.
- Process customer payment transactions.
Café assistants are responsible for a range of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the café.
Providing excellent customer service will be your primary responsibility, greeting customers, taking orders, and handling inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Preparing hot and cold drinks, as well as serving counter food and processing customer payment transactions.
- Good housekeeping of the café environment and following health and safety regulations is essential.
Hours of this position are -
5 hours per week on Sundays.
