Job summary
A well-established design firm in Leicestershire is seeking a CAD Designer to focus on the design and development of client projects. The role involves producing manufacturing drawings from architectural designs with an emphasis on bespoke joinery. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a CAD Designer, strong CAD software skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer with a background in joinery design.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.

Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: GBP 37,000 : GBP 40,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a CAD Designer to join a well-established company in Leicestershire. This role will focus on the design and development of client projects, producing manufacturing drawings from architectural designs, with a strong emphasis on bespoke joinery.
- Translate architectural drawings into detailed manufacturing drawings
- Produce accurate CAD designs for bespoke joinery and associated items within project scope
- Liaise with design, production, and project teams to ensure drawings are delivered to specification and deadlines
- Support the development of new and existing projects with innovative design solutions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer with a background in joinery design (essential)
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
