Job summary

A leading marine engineering company in Portsmouth is looking for a talented CAD Draughtsperson to create high-quality 2D & 3D engineering drawings. You'll produce CAD drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, collaborate with engineering teams, and work on marine projects from concept to fabrication. Experience in marine CAD drafting and proficiency with relevant tools are essential. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine CAD drafting (2D & 3D).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (DNV, Lloyd's, ISO).

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D/3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.

🚢 CAD Draughtsperson - Portsmouth (Hybrid)

Our client a leading name in the Marine and Offshore Industry are looking for a talented CAD Draughtsperson to create high-quality 2D & 3D ship and offshore engineering drawings. Work on exciting projects from concept to fabrication, including passenger vessels, tankers, and marine infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Produce 2D/3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks
• Develop detailed ship and marine structural designs
• Create photo-realistic renderings & technical models
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams

You have:

• Experience in marine CAD drafting (2D & 3D)
• Proficiency with SolidWorks + PDM/Vault and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (DNV, Lloyd's, ISO)
• Strong design skills and a keen eye for detail

Location: Portsmouth - hybrid (3 days on-site)
