We are working with a well-established, growing Hedge Fund to help them secure a Fund Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to gain knowledge of fund structures and cover a broad range of financial markets and instruments.
You will join a high-caliber, stable team and report to the head of fund accounting. The role involves working with outsourced fund administrators and has a broad remit, including NAV calculations, valuations, investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions. You will also review and reconcile fund expenses, accruals, and management/performance fees. The firm is highly focused on efficiency, providing autonomy to manage process improvement and automation projects, including developing data visualization tools in collaboration with their leading tech team. Visibility across senior leadership and the investment team requires excellent attention to detail and confidence in presenting to various stakeholders.
We are seeking qualified accountants with 0-2 years PQE. Knowledge of complex financial instruments and experience working in a hedge fund or with hedge fund/investment banking clients is essential. Exposure to VBA, SQL, or Python is highly desirable.
The firm offers a salary between £70k-£80k, depending on experience, along with a substantial bonus and potential for year-on-year increases.
