Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join an engineering team in Bournemouth. This hybrid role involves designing and developing high-quality Java applications and enhancing microservices. We are supporting a premier investment banking client with an urgent requirement for multiple Full Stack Java Developers to join a high-performing engineering team in Bournemouth. The programme is long-term business-critical and offers exposure to complex enterprise-scale systems.
The client is seeking a blend of Senior/Lead-level and MidSenior Full Stack Java Developers to support the design development and enhancement of core platforms. You will work closely with engineering architecture and product teams to deliver robust scalable solutions.
- Design develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications
- Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with front-end developers using ReactJS where required
- Write clean maintainable and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives
- Senior/Lead-level candidates will also provide technical guidance and mentoring
- Full Stack experience including exposure to ReactJS
- Advanced experience with Spring / Spring Boot
- A mix of Full Stack and Core Java specialists can be considered
- Senior / Lead level: 7-10 years experience
- MidSenior level: 4-6 years experience
