An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Vehicle Service Advisor at our client's franchise-approved car dealership located in Tewkesbury.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working alongside two other Service Advisors, you will need to be a confident relationship builder, able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicles while delivering first-class service. You will greet customers into the Service Department, book their vehicles in for repairs, liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, upsell additional products and services where possible, keep customers informed of their vehicle's progress, and handle payments for completed work.
To be eligible, ideally, you will live in the Tewkesbury region or within a reasonable commuting distance. The role requires at least 2 years of experience working as a Service Advisor or similar within an automotive dealership or garage environment. Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service are essential. Organizational skills and IT proficiency are also important; experience with the Autoview dealer management system is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers for warranty repairs would be beneficial but are non-essential.
