MJM Industrial Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to work directly for a global provider on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services.
Key Responsibilities:
As a HVAC Multi Skilled Mainteance engineer your duties will include but not limited to;
Identify and manage site risks, including critical spares, equipment performance, and environmental conditions via BMS; improve preventative maintenance.
Use new tech to maintain comfort; coordinate client requests for reactive and PPM tasks.
Diagnose faults in HVAC systems, especially VRV/VRF, with F–Gas handling certification.
Support team with Health and Safety practices.
Act as Energy Champion and assist as Safety Champion.
Provide Electrical and Mechanical support to the team.
Write and follow Risk Assessments; address issues safely.
Complete documentation per legal and company standards.
Use mobile devices for CAFM task management.
Use email/calendar to plan and complete tasks efficiently.
Liaise with Supervisor/Manager on Building Services issues.
Act as team lead or cover for Supervisor when needed.
Work overtime as required, including nights/weekends.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Supervise and manage subcontractors.
Participate in out–of–hours on–call rota for emergencies.
Essential Experience and Requirements:
Recognised or time–served apprenticeship
Solid HVAC maintenance experience
Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent)
Strong multi–skilled capabilities
Proficient in fault finding
Experienced in supervising contractors
Competent in completing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Knowledge of permits and safe systems of work
Certified in F–Gas handling and refrigerant use

Compensation:
GBP300.00 a month for on call once a month
Min 3 hours at x1.5 when called out
Remote phone calls on call out min 1 hour at x1.5
Sundays x2
