Job summary
A leading charity organization in London is seeking a Retail leader to manage a small caseload supporting clients with mental health needs and physical disabilities. The role involves guiding clients through assessments and job searching in various community settings. Ideal candidates have experience in team leadership and engaging with employers. Full training is provided.
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams and achieving targets at a senior level for at least 1-2 years.
- Ability to engage confidently with employers.
- Commitment to social impact through community work.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of clients with mental health needs or disabilities.
- Guide clients through assessments, job searching, and support.
- Conduct assessments in various community settings.
Skills

You’ll manage a small caseload of clients in your local borough, supporting people with mental health needs or physical disabilities back into work. From first assessment through to job searching and in-work support, you’ll guide them every step of the way. Full training is provided in the IPS employment support model.
- You’ve led teams, coached staff, and delivered results under pressure.
- You’re confident engaging with employers every week — building relationships and opening up job opportunities (at no cost to the employer).
- You enjoy being out in the community — meeting people in libraries, NHS sites, partner charities, and local businesses.
- You want a career with social impact, not just sales or service targets.
To apply: You must be able to demonstrate successfully achieving targets recently at a senior level for at least 1 – 2 years.
There are multiple roles (you’ll be based in one borough) including Brent, Barnet, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Harrow, Hounslow, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Islington, Camden, Haringey.
