A leading health organization is seeking a Junior Activities Assistant to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for children in their care. You will engage with children through play and education while ensuring their holistic development. This part-time role involves working flexibly during weekdays and weekends. Responsibilities include creating a safe environment and collaborating with parents. A background in childcare and relevant qualifications are required.
Junior Activities Assistant — Devonshire FWC | Childcare | Permanent | Part Time
£12.33 per hour • 6 hours per week
We are looking for a Junior Activities Assistant at our gym, who will create a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children can explore their potential. You’ll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development. Engage with them through play and education and keep up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We’ll give you opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.
You will need proven experience in a childcare environment, and be qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC. Ideally, EYPS and Paediatric First Aid.
You will need to be available to work shifts between 09:00-12:00 and 16:00-19:00 on weekdays and 09:00-12:00 on weekends, plus assisting with Nstars birthday parties on weekend afternoons.
