Art Technician – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoing

Duties as Art Technician
  • Prepare and organise materials and resources for Art lessons
  • Maintain and manage Art equipment and ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist teachers in setting up practical activities and demonstrations
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as required
  • Support pupils during practical sessions where appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the Art department
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the Art department
Ideal Art Technician
  • Previous experience working in an Art department or similar role is desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and pupils
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in an educational setting
