Job summary
A leading analytical company is seeking a laboratory technician in Oldbury. The role involves preparing solutions, conducting tests for quality assurance, and maintaining lab equipment. Candidates must have A-levels in a chemistry subject, previous lab experience, and good communication skills. This is an in-person position.
Qualifications
- Previous chemistry lab experience essential.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a chemistry lab required.
- Proficient in English.
Responsibilities
- Prepare solutions for production.
- Conduct a range of tests to maintain quality assurance.
- Operate and maintain lab testing equipment.
- Assist with production workload.
Skills
Education
We are seeking to recruit a laboratory technician to join our Laboratory department. The department provides essential analytical testing, dispensing and research activities. The role will be based at our site in Oldbury.
- To prepare solutions for production
- To conduct a range of tests to maintain quality assurance
- Carry out iterative experiments
- To operate and maintain lab testing equipment
- Collation of data for inclusion in reports and quality documentation
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and hygiene
- Comply with all relevant policies, procedures and instructions
- Preparation of samples for analysis
- Assist with production workload
- A-levels or equivalent and above in a chemistry related subject
- Previous chemistry lab experience essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible attitude required
- Chemistry lab: 1 year (required)
- English (required)
