A renowned law firm in the Bury St Edmunds area is seeking an experienced Succession & Agriculture Associate Solicitor. The role involves advising clients on complex succession planning and agricultural property matters, focusing on building long-term relationships with farming families and rural businesses. Ideal candidates will have a PQE of 3+ in relevant areas and a strong understanding of the agricultural sector. A commitment to the rural community is essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in relevant areas.
  • Experience with agricultural property and succession matters.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload of succession and agricultural matters.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on succession planning and estate administration.
  • Manage succession and agricultural matters from start to finish.
  • Build long-term relationships with rural sector clients.

Skills

Qualified Solicitor with 3+ PQE
Strong understanding of the agricultural sector
Experience in wills and trusts
Excellent communication skills
Commercially aware
