Job Title : Inventory Operative

Location : Greenford (5 days a week)

Reports to : Spare & Accessories Team Leader

About the role

You will organise all spares and accessories orders so they are packed and ready to be dispatched on time. The operative will also be responsible for supplying stock for the new Brompton Junction and prepare and maintain online shop orders.

Facing out you will be a principal figure in our customers service experience handling enquiries and managing orders as well as advancing the system upgrades which you will put in place. The role will be varied and challenging combining routines of a sales-positioned customer service and problem-solving.

The Spares and Accessories operative role at Brompton Bicycle is for someone who is keen to learn the full breadth of our company’s activities and products who is ready to progress in a role they are already sure-footed in and who is excited by the potential of a long-term commitment to this fast-growing British success story.

Main Duties
  • Monitor spare & accessories inventories mitigate discrepancy
  • Place order to warehouse & pre-assemble when needed
  • Ensure all back orders are monitored and fulfilled when parts become available
  • Refill Kanban to safety level
  • Allocate jobs to stock builder
  • Monitor stock builder productivity
  • Monitor quality of finished (Q-code) items
Additional Duties
  • To attend training and meetings as and when required
  • Any other jobs around spare & accessories that may be deemed necessary
