Job summary
A consultancy firm is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Consultant in Glasgow to lead capability assessments across the IT function. This high-impact role requires an individual to assess current workforce capabilities, advise on skills mapping, and shape future workforce capacity planning. Successful candidates will have proven expertise in conducting capability assessments and a strong background in workforce planning, as well as the ability to work independently and engage with senior stakeholders. Global Accounting Network are currently partnering exclusively with an international technology client who are looking for an experienced Workforce Planning Consultant to lead capability assessments across the IT function.
This is a high-impact, fully autonomous role where you will be responsible for assessing current workforce capability, advising on skills mapping, and helping shape future workforce capacity planning.
- Conduct comprehensive skills capability assessments across an IT department of approximately 180 people.
- Analyse and map workforce skills, competencies, and capacity across the organisation.
- Provide expert recommendations to senior stakeholders based on your findings.
- Engage with teams across the business to gather insights and drive clarity.
- Own the full assessment process end-to-end, from planning to delivery.
- SFIA Accreditation (current or previous).
- Proven experience conducting capability assessments within IT functions.
- Strong background in workforce capacity planning, skills mapping, and organisational capability analysis.
- Confident operating independently with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work with senior leadership in a confidential, change-focused environment.
