Our client is seeking Contract Accountants to join their Business Services andOutsourcing team to support a client project. This opportunity is available on a permanent or contract basis and is suitable for qualified or part-qualified accountants with a range of experience levels. The role involves delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services, with responsibilities tailored according to experience.
Job Duties:
- Provide accounting and financial reporting services in line with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards
- Deliver client-focused services during on-site or remote secondments
- Prepare and review financial reports and documentation
- Use accounting software to support accurate record-keeping and reporting
- Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all client interactions
- Stay updated with changes in financial reporting requirements and apply them accordingly
- Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions to meet business needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Job Requirements:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Proven experience working with accounting software and Excel
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive attitude
- Degree level education or equivalent experience preferred
