Site based at our client site - 54 Church St, Caldewgate, Carlisle, CA2 5TG

Job Overview

Site Waste Champion is responsible for the communication and execution of the Imperfect Product sales agenda and associated site waste streams, reporting to the central functional lead.

The candidate will typically be responsible for organising and maximising collection opportunities in each product category of imperfect product.

They will collaborate effectively and raise potential risks to key stakeholders.

Deliver documented reports on waste stream progress on a weekly basis to key stakeholders.

The role covers multiple waste streams across the site, including card, plastic, animal feed, R1 Reduce, R2 Reuse, R3 Recycle, and other streams (list not exhaustive).

Main Duties
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure maximum return is achieved where possible on the sale of waste.
  • Deliver the weekly and monthly Imperfect Product sales numbers vs forecast.
  • Support the UK Waste Specialist and Site Management Teams through reports and analysis that aid decision making.
  • Provide details of scope data relevant to the role, e.g. weekly net sales.
  • Maintain the Imperfect Product Dashboard by tracking volume.
